Job description

Marketing & Content Coordinator

Position Summary

Ford Hotel Supply is looking for an organized, creative self-starter who enjoys bringing ideas to life. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable creating social media content, coordinating marketing projects and company events, managing vendor relationships, and supporting ecommerce initiatives. They are detail-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and excited to help strengthen the Ford Hotel Supply brand while delivering an exceptional experience for our customers, vendors, and employees.

Primary Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Plan, create and schedule weekly content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok
  • Write monthly blog posts, social media captions, company newsletter and other marketing content
  • Capture photo and video content featuring our products, services, customer projects, employees, events and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Coordinate and produce a monthly customer feature showcasing visits to customer locations through photos, videos and social media content
  • Edit and produce reels, short-form videos, product demonstrations and monthly unboxing videos
  • Create graphics for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital marketing content using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software
  • Monitor social media engagement and online reviews

Marketing & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate the marketing calendar by working with vendors and internal teams to ensure products, content, and promotions are ready to launch on schedule
  • Coordinate vendor co-op marketing programs by developing and submitting marketing plans for approval, scheduling available funds, invoicing vendors, and following up on outstanding reimbursements
  • Develop relationships with vendors to secure additional marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and funding beyond standard co-op programs
  • Create campaign tracking links (UTMs) for all digital marketing efforts
  • Manage and maintain Klaviyo customer lists, segments, automated flows, and SMS marketing initiatives
  • Update and maintain email signature banners, invoice advertisements and other recurring marketing content
  • Research new marketing opportunities, trends, and ideas to help grow brand awareness
  • Assist with additional marketing projects and department initiatives as needed

Ecommerce Support

  • Assist with new product creation by researching and verifying product information, specifications, dimensions, attributes and other product data
  • Optimize, resize and upload product images for the website
  • Upload product documents, spec sheets, and other digital assets
  • Provide support for ecommerce operations, including assisting with fraud reviews, order processing, and other ecommerce projects as needed

Events & Employee Engagement

  • Coordinate customer events and vendor demonstrations
  • Assist with planning company celebrations and employee events
  • Organize employee recognition and anniversary announcements
  • Coordinate community service projects and charity fundraising activities
  • Plan internal contests and team-building activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, communications, or a related role; experience in the foodservice industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for social media videos, promotional content and company marketing initiatives.
  • Basic photography and videography skills
  • Proficiency with Canva and Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and quality control skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple departments and vendor partners
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for local travel between our St. Louis area offices and warehouses, customer locations, company events and vendor activities.
