Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Marketing Activation team members, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, development plans, and accountability for results.
  • Lead direct report responsible for special events while also independently executing the core duties of the Market Activation Manager, including planning, coordinating, and delivering market activation programs and event-based initiatives.
  • Translate the strategic pillar event and market activation roadmap into regional plans, identifying initiatives that support commercial, channel, brand, shopper, and customer priorities.
  • Assign work and manage team capacity, timelines, and resources across multiple activation programs to ensure quality execution and delivery against commitments.
  • Establish and continuously improve best-in-class activation processes, tools, routines, and post-program learning practices.
  • Lead collaboration across Commercial, Sales, Shopper Marketing, Brand, Digital, Creative, Special Events, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional partners to align objectives and execution requirements.
  • Build productive relationships with external brand partners, agencies, vendors, venues, customers, and community partners and hold them accountable to agreed scope, timing, quality, and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement activation strategies grounded in consumer, customer, product, cultural, and marketplace insights to build demand and market share within the assigned region or geography.
  • Proactively generate and encourage the team to generate creative, multifaceted ideas that engage consumers while supporting commercial priorities and brand objectives.
  • Develop and implement strong commercial strategy plans, executive-ready presentations, and recommendations tailored to different audiences.
  • Define success measures and monitor program performance, execution quality, budget status, and key risks; communicate progress, insights, and corrective actions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage activation budgets, forecasts, purchase requirements, and agency or vendor spend within established controls; identify efficiencies and escalate material changes with urgency.
  • Ensure team and partner execution complies with applicable brand standards, contractual commitments, safety requirements, legal guidance, and company policies.
  • Represent Marketing Activation in planning routines, market visits, customer discussions, and cross-functional business reviews.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of specific experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree
