Responsibilities
This critical role will
  • Support configuration and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable manufacturing workflows
  • Work with manufacturing and process engineering teams to translate requirements into MES configurations and system enhancements
  • Assist in implementing MES features such as routing, data collection, and traceability
  • Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of MES changes and new capabilities
  • Troubleshoot MES-related issues and support root cause analysis under guidance of senior engineers
  • Contribute to development of lightweight scripts, tools, or integrations to support MES functionality
  • Help document system configurations, workflows, and operating procedures
  • Support user training and provide day-to-day assistance to manufacturing teams using MES
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on system integration and data flow improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing workflows through better system usage and standardization

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related technical roles (internship/co-op experience strongly considered)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in semiconductor or relevant high-tech environment
  • Strong computer skills, including comfort working with technical systems, data, and software tools
  • Basic programming or scripting ability (e.g., SQL, Python, C#, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) through coursework, internships, or work experience
  • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Critical Manufacturing (CMF) MES certification
  • Familiarity with databases, data analysis, or system configuration
  • Experience working on process improvement or system implementation projects
  • Interest in manufacturing systems, automation, or digital transformation

The role will be based at our HQ in Santa Rosa, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa area.
