JOB DETAILS:
Position:Manufacturing Systems Engineer
JOB REF#:44633 - 1478330
Duration:12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location:HYBRID - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate:$58.00 - $65.50 per hour (W2 Only)
** Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense**
HYBRID: Four days ONSITE/ One day REMOTE (MON-FRI)
Remotely lead, support and coordinate mission-critical TVECS application system architecture & infrastructure sustainment activities to ensure operability at eight North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMC)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
** Software development and equipment testing.
** Supporting validation activities and managing traceability for system processes.
** Troubleshooting application issues and identifying solutions.
Testing and deployment of application quarterly version upgrades as provided by software vendor.
Performing quarterly server patching validation activities.
Troubleshooting/application support for planned and emergent events.
Ensuring IT compliance (cyber security, access control, obsolete).
Support TVECS and connected-system change point activity.
Infrastructure includes multiple servers and approximately 50 nodes that collect data from the internal application
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering.
2+ years of Project management experience in building plan, procurement service, scope control, and progress monitor.
Knowledge of MS Windows operating environment (server 2016+, Windows 10+) and SQL database.
Understanding of information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policy and webpage design.
** Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities across applications, servers, and PCs.
** Performing PC formatting, Windows Server administration, networking restructuring, and related system support tasks.
Ability to work cross functionally with local (North America) and overseas (Japan) manufacturing engineering teams and IT groups (network, firewall, security, account management).
Ability to visualize problems & solutions, work activity and project plans.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work weekends to support application management activities.
Strong interpersonal skills, work well with team environment, and can build consensus.
Verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain with multiple levels within the organization.
Preferred/Highly Desired Skills:
Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, preferred.
Knowledge of .NET technologies, preferred.
Experience with PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Ethernet/IP, FLNET).
