Closet America, a leading home professional closet organization retailer and manufacturer headquartered in Landover, Maryland is seeking an experienced home improvement sales manager to join our growing team. 
Closet America is focused on customer satisfaction, creating organization, joy and beauty. We need a manager that strives to support, develop, encourage, motivate, train, and grow a team of professional designers that go into client's homes to sell while maintaining our core values.

Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 
  
•       Manage the daily lead assignments and accountability (scheduling) of a team of Sales Representatives. 
•       Lead, motivate and counsel a Sales team to meet or exceed sales revenue goals while maintaining teamwork and the highest level of customer service. 
•       Be available to Sales Representative in real-time to address questions arising from customer demo including those related to pricing, product knowledge, installation, and references.    
•       Track and manage weekly and monthly sales numbers and maintain Sales Representative’s job results. 
•       Assess and review the performance of individual Sales Representatives using observation/Ride-A-longs and analysis of performance metrics.  Coach, train and facilitate professional development of Sales Representatives.  
•       Aligns Sales Representatives’ approach and customer understanding with Closet America’s strategic goals. 
•       Develop sales forecasts with probability percentages and pipeline status updates.
•       Complete weekly progress reports for Management encompassing installation, service, and quality assurance.
•       Provide skills assessment and ongoing training to staff, identifying appropriate training resources to fill skill gaps.
•       Recruit, develop, and manage staff to support all departmental functions. 
•       Conduct weekly motivational sales training meetings. 
•       Other duties as assigned.

•       Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with SAP or similar ERP system strongly desired. 
•       Licenses and Certifications:  Ability to obtain/maintain MHIC Sales License.
