Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Coordinator. Our Manufacturing Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. This position requires a blend of shop knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to production needs. The primary focus is on coordinating the various components of production. A successful Production Coordinator ensures that production goals are met on time, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve any production issues - hold owners accountable to tasks
  • Ensure and verify all stage gates are completed to allow for clear-to-build
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
  • Support in timely delivery of finished products
  • Monitor workflow and provide schedule updates as necessary to meet production targets

Requirements

  • Previous experience in any of the following metal manufacturing roles: Coordination role, Inventory control, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Shop Management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in inventory management software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of quality control standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
