Job description

Ensure that HSE plans and relevant HSE Management System and ER documentation is established, implemented and maintained in the project. Providing support and advice to all project and worksite personnel on matters related to HSE. Participation in, Chairmanship and review of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments as required.

Participation in accident/incident/and near miss investigations and implementation of corrective actions where required. External Audits of subcontractor activities including audits of third party vessels where required. Identification or trends regarding the recurrence of accidents/incidents/near misses providing feedback to vessels, offshore worksites, onshore worksites and the project management team as necessary.

Participation in the development and implementation of project HSE management procedures as required. Encourage and promote Safety, Health and Environmental awareness in all project related activities and worksites. Development and delivery of HSE training courses to both project onshore and offshore personnel as required.

Promoting the effective use of existing HSE management tools and techniques on each worksite. Liaison with various regulatory bodies. Liaison with clients on project HSE matters.

Provision of HSE deliverables for tender purposes. Participation in the development of HSE Procedures at a corporate level
