Manufacturing Quality EngineerIntroduction:
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of manufacturing processes within the organization. They are responsible for analyzing root causes of quality issues, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall manufacturing quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support investigations into quality issues such as scrap, rework, and customer complaints
- Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions using quality tools like 8D, fishbone diagram, and FMEA
- Monitor and continuously improve manufacturing processes by analyzing data and conducting risk analysis
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and operations team to enhance process capability and reduce variation
- Analyze quality data such as defect rates, process capability, and SPC charts and prepare reports for management
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including First Pass Yield and PPM
- Provide training to operators on quality standards and inspection techniques
- Support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise
Requirements:Required:
