Job description

Plant Manager – Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations. This senior leadership role oversees a workforce of 120+ employees and is responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a custom manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: 120k to 160K+ with bonus and is dependent upon education, experience and overall skillset. 

The Plant Manager will provide strategic and tactical leadership across fabrication, assembly, warehousing, inventory, shipping, and supply chain operations. This role is critical in leading operational turnarounds, implementing standardized processes and SOPs, and building a high-performance, accountability-driven culture. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with strong shop-floor presence, proven change leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer, quality, and cost objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 15+ years of manufacturing experience, including 8+ years in plant leadership
  • Experience leading large manufacturing teams (120–150+ employees), preferably in fabrication or machine shop environments
  • Proven success with operational turnarounds, Lean/continuous improvement, and SOP development
  • Strong safety leadership, ERP/MRP system experience, and KPI-driven decision-making
  • Hands-on, communicative leader with a track record of building high-performing teams
