Robert Half Permanent Placement is excited to partner with an innovative Steel Fabricator in Olean, NY on their search for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer.ย This is a Direct Hire position with a starting salary of $65,000 - $85,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.ย Due to growth, our client has newly created this entry-level position with excellent career growth opportunity.ย 


Please note: relocation expenses within the USA may be considered for the right candidate!ย The facility is right in the middle of Olean near the university, restaurants, entertainment and much more!ย

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

ย 

  • Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process procedures
  • Provide technical support to production teams and help troubleshoot manufacturing issues
  • Participate in tooling, equipment, and process improvement projects while working closely with engineering and operations teams


  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering required
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
