Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am, 4 on- 4 off rotating schedule (weekends required)
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily production on the shop floor within the Accessories Department. This includes employee supervision and/or coaching, meeting manpower requirements and placements, as well as on-the-job training for employees.
Requirements
  • Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements, manage absentee coverage.
  • Meet overall performance measures of the shift.
  • Provide on-the-job training to employees.
  • Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization, including enforcing all policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, housekeeping, attendance, conduct, etc.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all production activities.
  • Evaluate team performance.
  • Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function.
  • Troubleshoot processes, equipment, and quality problems to facilitate maximizing efficiency.
  • Initiate new job start-ups when required.
  • Effectively manage scrap control and reduction.
  • Engage in plan development and implementation.
  • Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.
  • Ensure that all completed orders are closed out and the product is transferred to the correct location.
  • Required attendance at daily production meetings.
  • Must maintain current certification for First Aid/CPR/AED.
  • Interact with Maintenance to maximize efficiency of all production lines.

Qualifications and Experience
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three to five years of production supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • Flexible Schedule and ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance and thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.

Salary Description
$25.00/hour- $30.00/Hour
