This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with strong work ethics and values to join our team as a Supervisor. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our restaurants. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining quality standards to deliver exceptional guest experience.
A supervisor is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (restaurant operations). Supervisor's work with his/her General Manager's to help set the restaurant's goals and create a plan to achieve these goals.
To meet restaurant goals, the Supervisor doesn't work alone. He or She will lead a team of General Managers in more than one restaurant. This means helping the General Managers to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their restaurants. Management of the Key Performance Indicators to have a successful P&L is essential to this role.
A supervisor may also assist in the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future. They will be responsible for hiring and developing salaried managers.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
  • Lead and supervise a team of restaurant staff, including crew members and shift leaders.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and development.

Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure all operational procedures, food safety, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with management to order supplies and products as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to and enforce health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and promptly resolve any maintenance problems.

Financial Management:
  • Assist in controlling operational costs and managing the budget to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales and performance metrics, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and revenue.

Communication and Collaboration:
  • Maintain effective communication with restaurant management and to Owner Operator to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct monthly in-person team meetings, sharing insights and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the Supervisor role with running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly recommended, or experience in hospitality or retail.

Requirements:
• Experience as a General Manager, Supervisor, or District Manager of a Quick Service restaurant for at least 5-10 years
• Driver's License and a Vehicle
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurants schedule
Preference:
• Knowledge of McDonald's operational procedures, food safety standards, and customer services
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry, preferably in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) setting
• Demonstrate problem solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner
• Graduates of McDonald's Corporation- Hamburger University/ ROLP/ GM Capstone
