Job description

The Global leader of Regional Marketing drives the regional end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy of Wolfspeed semiconductor power products across global markets for I&E. Responsibilities include new product definition, voice of region, shaping product strategy and messaging, orchestrating product launches, analyzing market trends & new product needs (locally and globally) and enabling sales teams to achieve revenue goals by bridging technical subject matter expertise with customer-relevant value.
Core Responsibilities
  • Voice of product and region: Own and operate the product go to market apparatus within each region. Proven track record of developing and executing successful regional marketing strategies to achieve regional revenue growth
  • Customer Engagement & Sales Enablement: Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, channel, key customers and partners. Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and support customer acquisition and retention efforts. Support sales teams to drive regional demand creation and revenue growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze semiconductor market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to influence product roadmaps and priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives. Monitor marketing regional specific performance, track ROI, and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Strategic Pricing: Define regional specific pricing strategies to maximize market share, top-line revenue, and profitability. Ownership of regional marketing minimums.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related technical field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in power semiconductor product marketing, technical marketing, field application or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Extensive ecustomer facing experience.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of power semiconductor & WBG devices and specific end-user applications.
  • Business Acumen : True understanding of how to make money from value propositions and focus, then ability to go do it.
  • Communication: Culturally adapt with the ability to bridge complex technical content with compelling, creative storytelling for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to drive results across global, cross-functional teams, managing complex projects and driving revenue growth.
