Seeking a Sr SAP RAR Consultant to support a large-scale Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise in SAP RAR along with deep integration knowledge across SD and BRIM landscapes.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
o SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR)
o Fundamental knowledge of SAP FI
• Experience across Order-to-Cash lifecycle, including:
o Inbound Processing
o Contract Management
o Performance Obligation (POB) & BRF+ Rule Framework
o Revenue Recognition Posting
o Billing & Invoicing
• Integration Experience
o SAP BRIM ↔ RAR integration
o SAP SD ↔ RAR integration
• 35 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects (RAR preferred)
• 23 support/maintenance engagements with strong incident management exposure
• Demonstrated ability to:

Roles & Responsibilities
• Act as a Solution Architect / SME for SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR), driving design decisions and best practices.
• Provide deep expertise in RAR processes including Inbound Processing, Revenue Accounting Contracts (RAC), BRF+ rules, Revenue Posting, Document Splitting, and Revenue Accounting Closing.
• Lead architecture and solution design for integration across SD, BRIM (SOM), AR, and FICA landscapes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand service-based and subscription-driven revenue models, and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity in requirements, solution approach, and delivery progress.
• Define and develop reporting requirements and translate them int o solutions using Analysis for Office (AO), Power BI, or ABAP-based reporting.
• Lead and support end-to-end RAR implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Develop functional specifications (FS) to address process gaps and enable required enhancements.
• Design and document integration artifacts including:
o Interfaces
o RFCs
o BAPIs
o User Exits and Enhancements
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
• Lead system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for RAR processes.
• Validate end-to-end revenue recognition flows, including POB creation, SSP allocation, and revenue postings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables and successful go-live.
• Own end-to-end SAP production support for RAR and integrated systems.
• Provide day-to-day support, including issue resolution, incident analysis, and bug fixes.
• Perform configuration/customization activities to resolve business issues in a timely manner.
• Support 24x7 environments with on-call responsibilities where required.
• Manage and support large-scale SAP environments, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for: SAP configurations, Functional designs, Technical specifications & Process flows and solution architecture
• Mentor and guide offshore/onshore teams, providing technical direction and support.
• Coordinate activities across project teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, and execute work independently while keeping leadership informed.
• Research emerging SAP capabilities and recommend optimization opportunities in RAR and related processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in automation, reporting, and revenue recognition processes.
Salary Range: $94,000 - $145,000 a year
