About the Role Role: SAP RAR/SD COnsultant Locate: Remote + 25% Travel Pay rates: $85/Hour - $90/Hour We are seeking an experienced SAP Revenue Recognition Consultant with extensive expertise in SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting), EBRR (Event-Based Revenue Recognition), and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end implementations, support complex revenue accounting processes, and ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards. This role involves implementing and configuring SAP HANA FIN FI solutions for clients, working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and trusted business advice. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of SAP RAR and EBRR solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Translate complex revenue accounting standards (IFRS 15 / ASC 606) into SAP system configurations. Design contract-based revenue recognition models, performance obligations (POBs), and revenue allocation logic. Configure and implement integration between SAP RAR, SD, and FI. Work with the BRF+ framework for revenue accounting determination and rules configuration. Setup revenue allocation, SSP determination, contract modifications, and multielement arrangements. Support data migration and reconciliation between legacy systems and RAR. Implement EBRR for real-time revenue recognition scenarios within S/4HANA. Configure event-based postings for sales, billing, and fulfillment. Integrate financial postings with Universal Journal (ACDOCA). Support transition from traditional revenue recognition to EBRR. Proper mapping of sales documents (orders, deliveries). Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
