Job Description:

Opportunity available for an RN in the Observation Unit, focused on providing inpatient care for short stay and medical surgical patients. The role involves telemetry monitoring and managing a mixed level of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:5/1:6.
  • Work alongside a team consisting of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs per shift.
  • Engage in quick patient turnover and short stay management.
  • Administer care using telemetry equipment and EMR - Cerner.
  • Float to other units when needed.

Requirements:

  • Telemetry competency and progressive care experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • A positive, compassionate attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Availability to work every other weekend without on-call duties.
