About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Retail Marketing to lead and drive the execution of
our omnichannel retail strategies across key partners domestically and internationally. This role will own the full trade
marketing ecosystem, ensuring every launch, campaign, visual merchandising expression and in-store activation
maximizes brand visibility, drives velocity, elevates the equity of the brand and enhances the consumer experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of beauty retail, is highly collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment. This role will partner closely with Sales, Brand, Creative, and Demand Plan/Operations
to build best-in-class retail strategies that support brand goals across all regions and channels.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail & Channel Strategy
โ€ข An integral part of the annual marketing plan will develop and execute annual trade marketing strategies across
key retail partners, ensuring alignment to brand, sales, and category objectives.
โ€ข Own the retail marketing calendar and identify key programs to support based on historical performance and
industry insight. Key programs include animations, campaigns, sampling, retailer multi-branded campaigns,
exclusives, and seasonal stories.
โ€ข Primary liaison between Marketing and Sales, partnering to develop retailer-specific launch plans and
merchandising strategies that maximize brand visibility and drive business growth.
โ€ข Ensure consistency of brand identity across in-store, .com, app, sampling, and CRM touchpoints.
Launch Planning & Campaign Execution
โ€ข Lead all go-to-market planning for product launches at key retailers and international retail partners that align with
brand strategy, program goals and budget requirements.
โ€ข Owner of the campaign toolkit, leading briefing, asset needs and timelines with Creative, VM, and
Sales. Responsible for releasing toolkits for every launch and core activation.
โ€ข In partnership with Sales, develop compelling retail activation strategies including shelf updates, endcaps,
sampling initiatives, events, influencer amplification, and retailer-led campaigns.
โ€ข Track, optimize and report performance of promotional moments such as in-store activations, storytelling
opportunities, and omni-channel campaigns with retail partners.
Retailer Relationship Management
โ€ข Serve as the primary marketing contact for retailer marketing teams.
โ€ข Build strong cross-functional relationships to secure incremental placements, priority pushes, and co-op marketing
opportunities.
โ€ข Manage retailer co-op budgets, performance reporting, and ROI optimization.
โ€ข In collaboration with Sales team, responsible for providing retail partners with timely information on all calendarized
programs and how marketing programming will support.
โ€ข Lead the development of brand presentations for retailer meetings, as well as regional and strategy meetings on
an as-needed basis.
Analytics, Insights & Business Performance
โ€ข Evaluate sales results, sampling ROI, and campaign performance by retailers to inform future strategies.
โ€ข Analyze category trends, consumer insights, competitive landscape, and retailer benchmarking to identify growth
opportunities.
โ€ข Build performance recaps and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
Digital, E-Commerce & CRM Support
โ€ข Ensure full omni-channel alignment across retailer.com, PDP strategy, app, paid media, landing pages, and CRM
communication.
โ€ข Partner with e-commerce teams to optimize conversions through enhanced content, SEO-optimized copy, reviews
strategy, shade finders, and launch merchandising.
โ€ข Support DTC with retail-aligned messaging when relevant.
Sampling, Education & In-Store Experience
โ€ข Lead retailer sampling strategy, and targeted programs.
โ€ข Partner with Brand/Product Marketing to ensure training strategies align with retail priorities and support launch
execution.
โ€ข Collaborate with VM on shelf updates, endcap refreshes, planogram optimization, and seasonal storytelling.
Misc.: Licensing Management (5-10%)
โ€ข Manage and maintain existing licensor renewals; ensuring contracts are up-to-date and compliant
โ€ข Own approval records, rejection logs, and audit-ready files for each licensed program
โ€ข Support licensor audits with organized documentation and SKU-level traceability, in partnership with Finance
Qualifications
โ€ข 7-10 years of trade/retail marketing experience
โ€ข Deep understanding of retailer ecosystems, including marketing programs, merchandising systems, campaign
structures, co-op, and omni-channel behaviors.
โ€ข Highly organized, and strong analytical skills with experience interpreting retail data, POS reporting, and campaign
KPIs.
โ€ข Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
โ€ข Exceptional project management skills, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines
simultaneously.
โ€ข Strong communication skills and ability to present to internal and retailer leadership.
โ€ข Hands-on, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for beauty.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple market needs simultaneously, balancing global consistency with regional relevance.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Experience working directly with Retailer Marketing Teams, Merchandising, VM, and DTC teams.
โ€ข Experience building or scaling trade marketing functions within a high-growth beauty brand.
โ€ข Strong understanding of digital retail levers: SEO, PDP optimization, CRM, reviews, app merchandising, and paid
media.
