About the Role

The Shift Manager Restaurants is responsible for directly overseeing the operations of the food and beverage outlet on an assigned shift.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall management of restaurant for a particular shift
  • Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount
  • Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments, standards/expectations, financial goals, and policies/procedures are consistently upheld
  • Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with team members and guests
  • Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
  • Trains and evaluates all restaurant personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
  • Ensures sanitation compliance throughout restaurants
  • Handles customer complaints
  • Responsible for meeting profit goals in all the restaurants
  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility

Requirements

  • Three to five years’ experience in full service restaurant management
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand)
