Position Purpose:
The Equipment and Supply Manager represents the equipment and design business to prospective and current customers. This role is responsible for acquiring and managing new business, consulting with clients, and overseeing all aspects of equipment and supply services. The ideal candidate will have a background in restaurant, hospitality, culinary arts, or sales, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Represent the equipment and design business to customers and prospects.
  • Acquire and manage new business opportunities.
  • Provide consultative services to customers regarding equipment and supplies.
  • Handles customer calls, website/app leads, and in-person meetings professionally.
  • Assists with in-store sales and walk-in customers.
  • Support other sales representatives and assist with sales activities.
  • Solve equipment and supply issues with minimal standardization.
  • Communicates with manufacturers regarding orders, product information, pricing, and shipping status.
  • Prepares customer quotes and bids, manage on-going project as necessary, and process customer purchase orders, invoices, and credits
  • Plan and execute displays and presence at trade shows, food shows, and customer events.
  • Perform accurate data entry and prepare reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Overnight travel required up to 50% of time.
  • Comply with all company policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
