Job Summary

Tryfacta is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager – Engineering Excellence for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced Technical Program Manager who has successfully led enterprise-scale technology transformation initiatives and can drive measurable improvements across engineering organizations.

Position Title: Senior Technical Program Manager – Engineering Excellence

Location: Remote (United States)

Duration: 12+ Months

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard Business Hours

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Engineering Excellence initiatives across enterprise technology organizations.
• Drive DevOps transformation programs focused on improving software delivery performance, quality, and engineering productivity.
• Establish and operationalize engineering performance metrics, including DORA Metrics and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Product, Security, and Executive Leadership teams to align strategic technology initiatives.
• Lead Platform Engineering and Developer Experience (DevEx) programs that improve development efficiency and software delivery outcomes.
• Manage enterprise adoption of AI-assisted development tools and engineering productivity solutions.
• Oversee cross-functional technical programs involving cloud modernization, application transformation, automation, and operational excellence.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and critical milestones.
• Provide executive-level communication, reporting, and governance for strategic initiatives.
• Drive organizational change management and adoption strategies to ensure successful program outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience within enterprise technology environments.
• Proven success leading large-scale cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, or technology transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Excellence principles, software delivery lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with DORA Metrics, Developer Experience (DevEx), Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering effectiveness initiatives.
• Experience managing complex, multi-team technical programs with executive visibility.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading AI adoption or AI-assisted software development initiatives.
• Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
• PMP, SAFe, AWS, ITIL, or related industry certifications.
• Background supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation and modernization efforts.
