The Opportunity
We're seeking a born dealmaker and relationship-builder to scale Anthem Mediation's attorney referral
network. This is a fully independent, commission-only role with uncapped earning potential and
complete autonomy over your approach, territory, and schedule. You'll identify practicing attorneys and
law firms, build genuine professional relationships, and convert them into recurring referral revenue.
Your job is simple: bring in quality relationships—we'll handle the rest. You'll earn 30% Year 1
commissions on every dollar you bring in, with full support from our leadership team. If you're
self-directed, love closing deals, and have a network or the sales chops to build one, this is an
opportunity to create real income with zero corporate overhead.
What You Will Do
• Prospect and identify practicing attorneys and law firms (plaintiff- and defense-side) with disputes
suitable for mediation or arbitration.
• Own the full sales cycle: initial outreach, relationship-building, needs discovery, and conversion to
active referral partners.
• Present Anthem's neutral roster, services, and value proposition consultatively—speaking directly
to each prospect's situation and pain points.
• Build lasting professional relationships with attorneys, partners, firm administrators, and in-house
counsel through consistent, personalized outreach.
• Close new referral relationships and nurture them for ongoing monthly revenue generation.
• Coordinate with Anthem leadership on client onboarding and ensuring positive first experiences
that drive repeat referrals.
• Maintain accurate records of prospecting, meetings, and referral activity.
• Represent Anthem at networking events, bar functions, and industry conferences (optional; your
choice).
What We Are Looking For
• A natural relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, understands their
needs, and earns their trust. You should have a demonstrated track record of closing deals and
generating recurring revenue, ideally through business development, direct sales, or consultative
B2B work in professional services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can build rapport with senior-level decision
makers, articulate value clearly, and know how to navigate complex professional relationships.
• A strong existing professional network (in law, business, or any related field) or proven ability to
build networks and generate leads from scratch. This could mean attorney contacts, business
referral relationships, or simply a track record of opening doors.
• A true self-starter who sets your own schedule, generates your own leads, manages your own
pipeline, and doesn't need hand-holding. You're comfortable with the independence and
accountability of 1099 work.
• Familiarity with mediation, arbitration, ADR, or the legal services industry is a bonus—but hunger
to learn and close deals matters more than prior legal experience.
How to Apply
Submit the following through the platform:
• A current resume or professional bio.
• A brief cover letter (one page max) that speaks to: (1) your business development or sales
experience and proven success closing deals, (2) the size and quality of your professional network
(or your track record building one), and (3) why you're excited about this specific role.
• Optional: References, representative results from prior sales/BD roles, or examples of
relationships you've built.
Qualified candidates will be contacted for an initial conversation. All candidates will be required to sign
a confidentiality agreement before receiving detailed information about commission terms.
