Job description

Canary helps employers reduce labor costs through utilization of employer tax credits. Our mission is to help employers keep more of their profits while at the same time building up their local communities through hiring. We are based in Atlanta, and we are looking for a person to manage our tax credit business line.
This is a full time hybrid job. We offer competitive compensation, revenue sharing bonus, medical and dental benefits and PTO.

Requirements/Responsibilities

This dynamic, cross-functional role will report to the CEO and be responsible for the following:
Collaborate with the product teams to update and enhance the company’s tax credit products.
Oversee tax credit processing staff and systems.
Collaborate with Sales and customers to identify all potential tax credits which might be available.
Provide guidance to junior staff to ensure compliance with tax credit regulations.
Work with marketing to create tax credit content to enhance the company’s brand as an expert in employer tax credits.
Serve as the company’s subject matter expert for all things related to employer hiring tax credits.
This is a hybrid job which requires work in the office at least 3 days a week. Therefore, only applicants in the Atlanta area or who are willing to relocate to Atlanta will be considered. For those willing to relocate, we are willing to assist with relocation to an apartment within easy bike, walk or scooter distance of the office..
