Job description

STV is seeking a Utility Relocation Engineer to join our Water team in Raleigh, NC. This position will support the design and coordination of water and wastewater utility relocations associated with transportation, municipal, and other infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and coordinate water and wastewater utility relocations and improvements.
  • Identify utility conflicts and develop relocation solutions in coordination with roadway, drainage, and other civil disciplines.
  • Prepare utility plans, profiles, specifications, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with NCDOT, municipalities, utility owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Review survey and SUE information and support utility conflict resolution throughout design and construction.
  • Assist with permitting, easements, right-of-way, and construction-phase coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of civil, water/wastewater, or utility engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience with water and wastewater pipeline design and utility relocation/coordination.
  • NCDOT or municipal infrastructure experience preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and/or OpenRoads preferred.

Compensation Range:

$99,431.03 - $113,635.46
