Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee global cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity planning across domestic/international subsidiaries.

  • Serve as secondary approver for disbursements (incl. foreign currency); support bi-monthly disbursement process (cash reports, SAP payment summaries, expenditure analysis).

  • Manage treasury operations: cash settlements, bank account administration, signatory maintenance, FBAR reporting, and treasury system administration/data integrity.

  • Monitor short-term investment strategies (principal protection, liquidity, yield).

  • Analyze portfolio yield, duration, credit quality, counterparty exposure; recommend repositioning and policy enhancements.

  • Maintain investment control reports (NAV validation, fair value reconciliation, impairment assessments, 1940 Act compliance).

  • Build short/long-term cash flow forecasts; run variance analysis for senior leadership.

  • Partner with FP&A/Accounting for GAAP/SEC investment fair value, classification, and disclosures (10-Q/10-K tie-outs).

  • Ensure SOX-aligned internal controls (SOC 1 reviews, segregation of duties, audit support).

  • Support debt compliance certifications and revolving credit covenant monitoring; assist share-based program activities.

  • Lead liquidity stress testing, contingency funding plans, scenario/sensitivity analyses; deliver actionable reporting.

  • Provide technical guidance to Treasury; collaborate with Accounting/FP&A/Tax/Legal/AP; support auditors and banking/investment partners.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance.

  • 10+ years (or 8+ with Master’s) in corporate treasury/finance/accounting with investment management/risk/treasury analytics ownership.

  • 5+ years building quantitative models (interest rate sensitivity, counterparty risk, scenario/stress, yield optimization).

  • Strong GAAP knowledge; advanced Excel modeling; treasury system experience (e.g., Kyriba/FIS Integrity).

  • Risk framework experience (interest rate, counterparty/credit, FX, liquidity); KPI dashboards/reporting; excellent communication.


Preferred:

  • Master’s; 5+ years in life sciences with excess cash/investment management; supervisory/mentoring.

  • CTP-AFP, CPA, CFA; SEC treasury disclosure experience; Power BI/Tableau/SQL/Python; international treasury (FBAR/cross-border); SAP/ERP and Clearwater Analytics.


Compensation/Benefits:

Salary: $133,000–$180,000; eligible for short- and long-term incentives.
