Senior React or React Native Developer
Location: NYC, NY- REMOTE
We thought you might be curious, but we're not implying these technologies are requirements:
• Front End: React for web applications and React native for mobile
• Frontend: Event-sourced architecture built in Elixir/Erlang
What you'll be doing...
• Shipping new features to our highly scalable Frontend web and mobile applications and improving the interfaces and user experience of our products.
• Working independently and collaborating with teams dedicated to various areas of the Reverence product including product managers, designers, and Backend engineers.
• Making informed recommendations and building consensus around decisions that improve the user experience and enable the business to scale.
• Playing an active role in agile ceremonies and sprint delivery, working with engineers, managers and designers.
• Being mindful of product quality, scalability and security, developing processes and systems that allow us to ship often while reducing risk.
• Diagnosing performance and optimization problems and using your ability to both resolve and prevent these issues.
About You...
• You are a product-minded Frontend technologist with 3+ years of experience working on cross functional, agile software development teams preferably using a modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc) or React Native.
• You have an eye for beautiful and usable Frontends using your solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• You've either had success in a previous early stage startup [or] you have confidence you will thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires perseverance, humility, adaptability, and dealing with ambiguity.
• You are well-versed in agile practices and can make recommendations to processes and how we communicate and collaborate, make efficient use of resources, iterate quickly and provide greater innovation and better user experience.
• You care personally about diversity, valuing different perspectives and life experiences, and being thoughtful about inclusivity, and our collective wellbeing
