Job description

Position Description:
As the Manager of Market Research & Client Partnerships, you will lead the design and execution of custom market research studies across a range of industries, while serving as a strategic partner to clients.
This role combines research leadership, client relationship ownership, and business growth, with a strong emphasis on driving repeat business and long-term partnerships. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that inform critical business decisions across diverse markets.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending research designs and methodologies that best address key business questions
  • Own and grow client relationships, with a primary focus on driving repeat business, client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships
  • Identify and lead opportunities to expand existing client engagements through value-added research and strategic consulting
  • Support new business development efforts, including contributing to proposals and scoping, with a secondary focus compared to client retention
  • Oversee the development of client deliverables, including PowerPoint reports and Excel-based simulators, ensuring strategic clarity and quality
  • Lead and mentor research teams in the development of study materials and execution of projects
  • Provide high-level oversight of project execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Communicate key project updates (timelines, field status, risks) and proactively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with and oversee external vendors for recruitment, logistics, survey programming, and data processing
  • Ensure rigorous quality control standards across all deliverables and outputs

Requirements:
  • 5-8+ years of experience in market research, consulting, or related field, with increasing responsibility
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, with a track record of driving repeat business
  • Strong expertise in quantitative/qualitative market research methodologies; experience across multiple industries is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and overseeing complex projects
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and analytical tools (e.g., SPSS)
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Analytics, Psychology, Economics, or related fields) preferred.
