Job description

Company Overview:

  • This is a 45+ year old window and door dealer supporting residential and commercial construction projects across the Chicagoland market
  • This company is known for their strong employee tenure, reliability, and long-standing contractor relationships
  • Authorized dealer of Andersen, Marvin, ProVia, and Therma-Tru products

What The Position is About:

  • Achieve or exceed sales goals by calling on residential builders and contractors in the assigned territory
  • Quote and estimate residential projects
  • Read plans and specify products accurately
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with new customers while building loyalty with existing customers
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales
  • Coordinate projects internally post-sale and support contractors on-site when needed
  • Commit to continuous learning and knowledge of the company’s products and maintain up to date on industry trends and developments that may affect the market

 

The Right Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven sales experience within the building materials or construction industry
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience calling on builders, remodelers, or contractors is preferred
  • An existing book of builder business is a major plus
