Job description

Window Works Co.

Residential Window & Door Sales Consultant

Location: Durham, NC (Serving Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, and surrounding Triangle communities)

*We welcome qualified applicants from all backgrounds.

Sell More. Earn More. Leave the Installation to Us.

Top-performing consultants at Window Works Co. generally earn $150,000 to $300,000 annually, based on their personal sales results.

You already know how to connect with customers and close valuable projects. You deserve a sales opportunity where your income reflects the results you produce.

Your Talent Should Not Be Wasted on Bad Leads

Many sales positions expect you to chase cold prospects, work under a commission cap, or convince customers to buy products that are difficult to stand behind. Then, after making the sale, you are left managing installation issues instead of pursuing the next opportunity.

That is not how this position works.

At Window Works Co., your responsibility is to meet qualified homeowners, recommend the right solution, and guide the opportunity through the closing process. Our operations team manages the project after the sale.

Built for Sales Professionals Who Know How to Close

Window Works Co. has served homeowners throughout the Triangle since 2007. As a local, family-owned business, we are known for premium windows and doors, dependable craftsmanship, and a consultative sales experience without high-pressure tactics.

Because of that reputation, our consultants meet with warm prospects who have already expressed interest in their home improvement project.

We supply the appointments, product, presentation technology, and sales resources. You build the relationship, earn the customer's confidence, and close the business.

The Role

You will conduct in-home consultations with homeowners and help them explore window and door options that fit their property, priorities, and budget.

Using high-quality visualization technology, you will allow customers to preview the finished appearance of their project before making a commitment. You will develop estimates during the consultation and clearly explain the available solutions.

Some customers may sign during the initial appointment, but major home improvements often require consideration. You will follow up professionally, respond to questions, invite prospects to visit the showroom, and remain engaged until they are comfortable making a decision.

You will document activity in the CRM, organize your pipeline, and provide signed agreements to the project management team for fulfillment.

Success in this position requires more than delivering a strong presentation. It requires discipline, reliable communication, and the ability to continue earning trust after the first meeting.

Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits

  • This is a full-time W-2 opportunity offering an uncapped, performance-based commission plan. Commission percentages increase as your production rises, with additional earning potential for self-generated sales.

Window Works Co. equips you with:

  • In-home design and visualization software
  • iPad
  • Vendo
  • CompanyCam
  • Customer relationship management software

Benefits include:

  • Medical and dental coverage
  • 401(k) matching
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Paid holidays
  • Vacation time
  • Paid sick time
  • All company-provided appointments are located within approximately 30 miles, helping you maintain a manageable territory and avoid excessive travel.
  • Appointments are available between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The company does not schedule consultants on weekends. You may choose to arrange your own Saturday appointment when desired.

Choose the Opportunity That Matches Your Ability

You can continue working with low-quality prospects, limited earning potential, and little support after the sale. Or you can join a company where the appointments are qualified, the product is respected, and your income is determined by what you accomplish.
