Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Management Leader to lead and oversee the execution of new equipment orders. You will be responsible for guiding a high-functioning project management team, providing project management discipline and driving the successful execution of new equipment projects for corrugating product line. Your leadership will be instrumental in meeting project objectives and maintaining adherence to budget and schedule. This role performs project execution and client coordination across the company to include activities such as budgeting, forecasting, resource management, project scheduling, engineering, integration, installation, start-up and project closure.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring project scope, deliverables and schedule are clearly defined and agreed to prior to project execution.
  • Through the project management team, achieve objectives for all projects, including milestones, schedule adherence, product cost targets, and project cost targets.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a standards playbook for all projects, including scheduling management systems, work breakdown structures, critical path/dependency assessment tools, project status reporting processes/systems, etc.
  • Ensure disciplined adherence to project management execution playbooks and standards.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Ensure consistent alignment across all stakeholders, including BWP leadership, internal functional departments, and customers, to keep projects on track with business goals.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options to drive forward project progress.
  • Adjusting and communicating schedule and target changes on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Identifying potential project schedule delays, facilitating recovery plan / option analysis and recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
  • Partnering with outside OEMs to define scope of requirements, manage purchasing process and ensure execution and accountability.
  • Responsible for all project documentation control and formal communication.
  • Develop individual team members' project management competencies.
  • Lead, direct, coach less experienced team members and/or project managers.

Job Specifications:
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Change Agent.
  • Proficient in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze data related to business objectives with a full understanding of P&L impact
  • Facilitate and drive effective conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project or equivalent.

Travel: 20%
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; B.S. in Engineering preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams of Project Managers.
  • Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  • Experience in capital equipment or low volume, high mix, high customization businesses would be ideal but not required.
