POSITION SUMMARY:


Pay Range: $115,000 to $135,000


As the Manager of Account Manager at ADDMAN Polymer, you will be responsible for leading and developing account management team while overseeing a portfolio of key customer relationships across Commercial Space/Aerospace & Defense, medical, and high-end industrial markets. Your primary focus will be to drive revenue growth within existing accounts, expand strategic partnerships, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.


In this role, you will direct and mentor a team of Account Managers, establishing account strategies, driving pipeline development, and ensuring consistent execution of commercial objectives. You will serve as the senior commercial leader for key accounts, working cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to align customer needs with ADDMAN's capabilities and long-term growth strategy.


This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and requires U.S. person status.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth.ย 
  • Oversee and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, serving as the senior commercial point of contact when needed.ย 
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities to expand services, capabilities, and programs within existing accounts.ย 
  • Establish and execute account strategies, including revenue targets, pipeline development, and long-term growth plans.ย 
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships to strengthen partnerships and increase share of wallet.ย 
  • Partner closely with Program Managers and internal teams to ensure successful program execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.ย 
  • Guide the development of proposals, pricing strategies, and commercial terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders.ย 
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline health, bookings, and key account metrics.ย 
  • Support complex contract negotiations, scope changes, and commercial escalations.ย 
  • Champion the voice of the customer internally, driving continuous improvement and alignment with market needs

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability to lead and scale an account management or customer-facing sales team.ย 
  • Strong track record of growing existing accounts and driving revenue through relationship-based selling.ย 
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.ย 
  • Strong presence with the ability to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.ย 
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably additive manufacturing.ย 
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable business opportunities and solutions.ย 
  • Strong business acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, and negotiation.ย 
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around customer and business objectives.ย 
  • Results-driven mindset with high levels of ownership, integrity, and accountability.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.ย 
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or related industries.ย 
  • Minimum 5+ prior experience leading or managing Account Managers or sales teams required.ย 
  • Demonstrated success in growing and retaining key customer accounts.ย 
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and ITAR compliance preferred.ย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems preferred.ย 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The role requires frequent interaction with manufacturing operations, where PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. Typical plant conditions with ambient temperature, standard lighting, and machining equipment in use.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and movement throughout manufacturing areas. May involve accessing or observing equipment in confined or elevated spaces, following all safety procedures.
