Global Procurement & Supply Chain Governance Department
The Global Procurement & Supply Chain Governance team supports procurement, source-to-pay processes, supply chain performance, supplier management, working capital visibility, and enterprise decision-making. The team partners closely with Finance, Operations, IT/Data, and procurement stakeholders to improve data quality, build trusted analytics, and translate business needs into measurable operational improvements.


Position Overview


This role is based remotely in the United States.


Vantage is seeking a Director, Procurement Intelligence & Predictive Analytics, Global to lead the strategy, development, and adoption of advanced analytics capabilities across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance. This role will drive enterprise-wide data-driven decision making by transforming complex global data into actionable insights that improve operational performance, optimize working capital, mitigate risk, enhance supplier outcomes, and support executive and strategic business decisions.


The Director will define and execute the global roadmap for procurement analytics, predictive and prescriptive modeling, machine learning, and decision intelligence solutions across Demand-to-Delivery, Source-to-Pay, supplier performance, spend analytics, inventory and asset management, and cash flow forecasting. Working closely with senior leaders across Procurement, Finance and Technology and Business Functions, this role establishes scalable analytics capabilities, data governance standards, and reporting frameworks that enable informed decision-making and deliver measurable business value worldwide.


Essential Job Functions

  • Own and lead the global strategy, roadmap, and governance for procurement analytics, data science, and decision intelligence capabilities that enhance procurement performance, supplier management, sourcing effectiveness, contract compliance, and spend optimization.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Procurement, Finance, Technology and executive leadership by translating complex procurement, supplier, inventory, and supply chain data into actionable insights, business strategies, and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead the design and deployment of predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities, leveraging machine learning, statistical modeling, optimization, forecasting, and decision intelligence to drive enterprise value using both internal and external data sources.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of analytical models supporting demand forecasting, supplier risk management, capacity planning, inventory optimization, lead-time prediction, anomaly detection, and cash flow forecasting.

  • Establish and champion executive dashboards, supplier scorecards, KPI frameworks, and reporting standards that provide visibility into procurement, supply chain, fulfillment, and project performance across the organization.

  • Drive enterprise-wide working capital and cash flow optimization initiatives through advanced analytics of purchasing activity, payment timing, inventory investments, accruals, supplier terms, and capital project spending.

  • Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Technology, and business functions to improve forecasting accuracy, scenario planning, capital allocation, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.

  • Lead transformation initiatives across Source-to-Pay processes by identifying strategic opportunities for automation, compliance improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence.

  • Advance procurement analytics capabilities that increase guided buying adoption, spend visibility, purchase order compliance, invoice matching accuracy, goods receipt management, and overall procurement effectiveness.

  • Establish and maintain global procurement data governance standards, including data quality frameworks, master data management, metadata, lineage, controls, and stewardship practices.

  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision making by promoting analytics adoption, enhancing self-service capabilities, and ensuring analytical insights are embedded into business operations and strategic planning.

  • Influence enterprise data and analytics strategy through collaboration with technology and data teams, ensuring scalable solutions, strong governance, and sustainable business impact.

  • Mentor and develop analytics talent while fostering best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across the analytics organization.

  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, quantitative strategy, or a related discipline, including experience leading enterprise-scale analytics initiatives.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting or partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or other enterprise business functions, with demonstrated influence at the leadership level.

  • Proven experience developing and executing analytics strategies, roadmaps, and operating models that drive measurable business outcomes and organizational transformation.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and translate complex analytical insights into strategic recommendations, business decisions, and investment priorities.

  • Deep expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization, and modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies.

  • Experience leading the development of enterprise reporting, KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and self-service analytics capabilities using Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.

  • Strong understanding of procurement operations, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analytics, working capital optimization, Demand to Delivery, Source-to-Pay, Asset & Inventory, and supply chain performance management.

  • Familiarity with procurement and ERP platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Workday, Yardi, SAP ERP, or similar enterprise systems.

  • Expertise in data governance, master data management, data quality, metadata management, lineage, stewardship, and enterprise data management best practices.

  • Experience integrating and leveraging procurement, finance, supplier, inventory, contract, project, ERP, and payment data to drive strategic insights and operational improvements.

  • Preferred experience in data center infrastructure, construction, capital projects, procurement analytics, finance analytics, supply chain analytics, or other CAPEX-intensive environments.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, large-scale transformation initiatives, and enterprise data programs in complex, high-growth organizations.

  • Experience building, mentoring, and developing analytics, business intelligence, or data science talent preferred.

  • Professional certifications such as CDMP, CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or related credentials are preferred.

  • Travel up to 20%, with flexibility to increase as business needs evolve.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $180,000-200,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
