Job description

Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Lead Sales Engineer with deepexpertisein cyber defense products, such asdefensive cyber operations,malware reverse engineering, detection engineering, or threat hunting, and enterprise-grade solution architecture to support and drive complex sales engagements. This role combines technicalexecutionwith executive-level communication, acting as a trusted advisor to security, incident response, and threat intelligence teams.This role requirespartnership with technical and business stakeholders across private and public sectors to support strategic solutioningandseamlessintegration of cyber product in the customer's environment.

You will guide technical input for proposalsrelated to our cyber product portfolio, deliver compelling demos, and ensure seamless sales-to-delivery transitions.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

WhatYou'llDo:

  • Serve as the primary technical authority forcyber productsin market facing engagementsandsupportsolution design during enterprise sales cycles

  • Deliver highimpact demosand technical presentationsshowcasingscalability, security, and integrationof our cyber products across private and public sector markets

  • Supportcompetitive technical positioning against other competing products and solutions

  • Support formal enterprise procurement processes, includingproposals, architecture reviews, and securityassessments;articulate differentiators and guide negotiations

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, andmarketteams todeliver market feedback and requests andinfluenceproductroadmap andmarketanalysis

  • Act as a technical advisor to customers during evaluation and early adoption phasesin partnership with market teams

  • Support post-salecustomersuccess, troubleshooting, salesrenewaland upgrades within the cyber product portfolio

You Have:

  • 5+yearsof experiencein technical pre-sales or solution architecture

  • 4+ years of experience leading enterprise engagements

  • 3+yearsof experienceinarchitecting,implementing, and integratingenterprise-scale security architecturesacrossendpoints, identity, networks, and cloud environments, includinganalyzing security telemetry toimprovedetection, alerting, and response behavior

  • 3+yearsof experienceworking closely withsecurity operations teams to support investigation workflows, alert triage, and operational decision-making

  • 2+yearsof experienceperforming technical work,such asengineering software products, developing full-stack applications, deploying services, configuring operating systems, or building andmaintainingtest or production environments

  • Experience with AWS or Azure, container orchestration, such as Kubernetes, ECS, or ACA, and CI/CD tooling, such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Flux

  • Ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience withadvanced capabilities in reverse engineering, behavioral analysis, and threat research, wheresolutionsprovidemeasurable improvements in detection accuracy, investigation efficiency, and enterprise-scale security operations

  • Experience supporting Fortune 500regulated-industry customersand public sector

  • Experience integrating malware analysis platforms intoSIEM, SOAR, or MDR environments

  • Experience integrating and operating Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting solutions

  • Experience with software engineering, such as programminginPython, Java, or C/C++, andbuilding application integrations, such as RESTful APIgateway services

  • Experience with automated testing and workflow optimization

  • Knowledge of AIOps, MLOps, ModelOps, or DataOpspatterns

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Master's degree

  • Completion of GREM, OSCE, or SANS FOR/RE Courses

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
