The Practice Manager provides assistance to the Executive Director in the ongoing operations of the Program by implementation of policies and procedures, program handbooks. Provides coordination between Meadow’s intake, inpatient programs, Human Resources, Compliance Dept. & Business Office. Assist the Executive Director in deployment of the program. Leads and manages the admin assistant team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of an operational handbook to include patient orientation to the program
  • In conjunction with the Compliance Department, will oversee the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures that are in compliance with company policy and State and Joint Commission regulations.
  • As assigned by Corporate Compliance, may function as a Safety Officer insuring compliance with all Risk and Safety policies as well as State and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Coordinate all Administrative activities, including scheduling of all activities and therapies and provide daily supervision to any administrative clerical staff.
  • Coordinates on-boarding and off-boarding of new staff as well as personnel file maintenance with Corporate Human Resources
  • Coordinates with the Business Office to ensure prompt and accurate posting of charges and collection of payments due.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related Field preferred
  • Two years of administrative / clerical support experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in behavioral health is preferred.
  • Preferred experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) in an Outpatient Setting.
