Job Summary

College Medical Center Phoenix Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is looking for a Program Director who will be responsible for updating program designs, overall program management, supervision of all phases of treatment within the program, and participating in direct patient care as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed LCSW, Psychologist, or RN (may be licensed MFT if working in an on-site program); related graduate degree (MS, MSN, etc.) may be considered.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical specialty.

  • Minimum of one year of management or administrative experience in the mental health field, or promotion from within.

  • Capable of managing all aspects of the program, including clinical issues, census, expenses, referral development, and staff supervision.

  • BLS and CPI required upon hire or within 2 weeks.

  • Current MAB within 90 days of hire.

  • Level One fingerprint card.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Effectively administer the program day to day, ensuring all services provided are accurately recorded and documented.

  • Continually monitor and evaluate Program/Hospital Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance issues.

  • Contribute to building and maintaining census through referral development and Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance activities.

  • Design and update programs, including the development of new tracks.

  • Work with Access Services to coordinate intake processing for the program.

  • Collaborate with Community Services Liaisons to develop specific annual and quarterly plans for the program.

  • Oversee the admission process, ensuring that scheduled admissions arrive on time and complete the admission process.

  • Regularly assist in the coordination of transportation services.

  • Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance, including adherence to Clinical Staff Bylaws, Title XXII, The Joint Commission, and licensing standards.

  • Ensure patients are seen by program physicians as required by payors and collaborate on Utilization Review and clinical decisions.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices.
