Job Summary

The Practice Supervisor is responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions associated with an assigned practice(s). The Practice Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, inventory control, personnel management, patient relations, and patient flow and compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations
    • Supervise front desk, medical assistants, and support staff
    • Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and inventory
    • Financial Operations
      • Oversee daily collections, copays, and charge reconciliation
      • Monitor practice-specific budget and expenses
    • Human Resources
      • Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate site-level staff
      • Manage time-off requests, payroll approval, and staff discipline (within scope)
    • Patient Experience
      • Ensure high-quality patient service and resolve patient complaints
      • Implement patient satisfaction initiatives
    • Compliance
      • Ensure staff follow HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols
      • Maintain required documentation and readiness for audits
    • Reporting
      • Track and report daily/weekly site-level performance metrics to regional manager
      • Identify operational challenges and escalate as needed

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills to ensure the best possible experience for our patients.
  • Experience with an EMR system, Athena experience a plus.

Education /Experience

  • Associate’s degree in business or health care related field
  • Three years or more of related experience required

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
