This role operates in a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home. Utilizing our Simple Practice platform, therapists engage with clients through secure video conferencing and messaging, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing client experience and treatment outcomes.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique therapeutic journeys.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues related to substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders.
• Provide regular follow-up sessions via video conferencing to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document sessions accurately in accordance with compliance regulations using the Simple Practice system.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to collaborate on best practices and share insights regarding client care.

Our therapists work primarily with adults and teens in a detox setting, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including substance use disorders, trauma recovery, and emotional stability. You will have the opportunity to shape positive outcomes by implementing therapeutic interventions that support clients on their path to recovery. The nature of the work requires empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of mental health complexities.

• Active licensure as a mental health clinician, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong foundation in treatment planning and psychotherapy, particularly for individual clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively over virtual platforms.
• Proficiency in delivering care via telehealth, with experience in using tools like Simple Practice being advantageous.

• At least two years of experience in mental health therapy, particularly in remote or telehealth settings.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and group therapy practices.
• Experience working with diverse populations, focusing on trauma-informed care.
