We'll look to you for:

  • Project planning:
    • Secure the project initialization for the Tender Transfer Gate: mobilization of resources, project scoping, project planning definition, review / allocation of requirements, review of interfaces with other sub-systems, QCDP allocation within Digital Services scope
    • Set-up of the governance with Digital Services stakeholders (Regions and Central)
    • Support the elaboration of the Project Management Plan
  • Project steering:
    • Monitor key dimensions of the project for digital WPs and raise alert in case of deviation: Planning deliverables, QCDP objectives, Risks / Actions, Resources,…
    • Manage the governance processes (incl. activity planning, monitoring and communication)
    • Provide strategic arbitration between and within system levels based on project constraints.
    • Support Project savings initiative at Digital Services scope level
    • Manage the alignment with contractual requirements and variation orders.
    • Arbitration of QCDP re-baselining and change management at project level. Manage claim and litigations if needed
    • Ensure project documentation is up to date and aligned with quality standards
    • Handle transition from project to run contract (training, configuration management, contractual information sharing…)
  • Customer management:
    • Key Customer point of contact on the digital scope.
    • Collect, cascade and allocate customer feedbacks/modifications to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Coordinate the Variation Orders
  • Contract management:
    • Support discussion with licenses providers and third parties, especially for service level and support.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering Graduate/ Diploma in Engineering field or equivalent on-work experience
  • IPMA level B (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years in a managing position in an operational environment, in Digital solutions context
  • Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures
  • Knowledge of ALSTOM way of working for efficient process execution

Competencies & Skills

  • Project management and digital technology knowledge in the railway industry
  • Good Knowledge of Project management and Bid management processes
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills and capacity to orchestrate cross-functional activities in a multi-cultural and multi-level (system & sub-systems) environment. Result-oriented.
  • Drive to push new topics throughout the organization and in front of the customer.
  • Rigorous, autonomous, capacity to learn fast complex technical topics
  • Good inter-personal skills, need to animate work of composite teams over several locations
  • Bilingual : French and English
