Job description

The General Manager will oversee both in store shifts and administrative work ON SITE. While on shift, the General Manager will oversee that team members are correctly prepping fruit, blending frozen fruit bases making smoothies, topping smoothie bowls, taking customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Control - product consistency and freshness
  • Product Presentation - Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food and drinks (Instagram worthy products)
  • Inventory - placing orders for food and dry goods; verifying deliveries are correct in quantity and quality; maintaining food and equipment inventory numbers
  • Customer Service - investigate and resolve customer complaints 
  • Scheduling - staffing appropriate number of hours to meet labor percentage goals
  • Training - organize and direct employee training programs
  • Store Procedures - adhere to company directed opening/closing procedures, review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety 
  • Cash Management - ensure cash tills are balanced, make bank deposits, ensure cash tips are distributed in a timely manner
  • Maintenance - assist with scheduling any equipment and minor maintenance/repairs
  • Human Resources - hiring, employee evaluations, and resolving any personnel issues 
  • Marketing Initiatives - execute corporate run marketing tactics, community outreach to local businesses/partnerships 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years Restaurant Managerial Experience 
  • OPEN availability
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of supply chain
  • Communication and Active Listening skills
  • Critical Thinking skills 
  • Ability to work with employees/co-workers of all ages
  • Attending Mandatory weekly admin meetings (in person or virtual)
  • Working smartphone
  • In Store and Admin Hours - work 50 hours weekly (including administrative work)
