Information Technology (IT) Business AnalystPosition Summary

The IT Business Analyst provides analytical and operational support to the Information Technology department by evaluating business processes, analyzing data in enterprise applications, identifying opportunities for improvement, and assisting with the implementation of technology solutions. The role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to improve business performance, system effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Analyze business processes and enterprise application data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of process and system-related problems.
  • Develop corrective action recommendations and support implementation efforts.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain business and technical documentation.
  • Create process flows, user documentation, training materials, and work instructions.
