Position Summary

The Sales Director at Eagle Title is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across all branches through disciplined sales execution, recruiting top talent, and strategic market expansion. This role serves as the central sales strategist, coach, and growth catalyst—building a scalable, high-performance sales model that supports residential, builder, and commercial business lines.

The Sales Director operates with influence and accountability for sales outcomes but does not have direct reporting authority over Settlement Officers. Performance management, compensation decisions, and employment matters remain with Business Line Leaders and Branch Managers.

However, this role plays a critical role in performance diagnostics, coaching, and escalation support, ensuring accountability through structured insight and partnership with leadership.

In addition, the Sales Director owns the company's sales infrastructure and operating cadence, including CRM strategy and governance, dashboards and reporting, quarterly business reviews, and companywide sales rhythms.

The Sales Director directly oversees the Director of Marketing and is responsible for ensuring marketing strategy is aligned to measurable revenue outcomes, pipeline creation, and market growth.

  • Building a scalable sales organization capable of supporting aggressive recruiting and expansion
  • Partnering with leadership to recruit, onboard, and ramp high-performing Settlement Officers
  • Establishing consistent sales execution, messaging, and accountability across all branches
  • Leading structured coaching and performance cadences that improve productivity and retention
  • Owning CRM adoption and sales data integrity to enable visibility, forecasting, and accountability
  • Supporting market expansion, new branch launches, and acquisition integration efforts

2. Recruiting & Talent Pipeline Development
  • Partner with the VP of Operations to build and execute a proactive recruiting strategy for high-performing Settlement Officers
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential hires across markets
  • Support candidate evaluation, including assessment of production potential and book of business
  • Assist in closing top candidates by aligning expectations around production, support, and opportunity
  • Ensure strong onboarding and ramp strategies that accelerate time-to-productivity

3. Settlement Officer Sales Support (Non-Reporting)
  • Act as a sales advisor and coach to Settlement Officers across all branches
  • Lead structured 1:1 coaching sessions based on performance:
    • Weekly for underperforming producers
    • Bi-weekly for those on target
    • Monthly for senior/high-performing Settlement Officers
  • Conduct structured roleplay and skills development sessions based on real scenarios
  • Support strategic account planning and major relationship pursuits
  • Reinforce consistent sales behaviors and expectations across all branches

4. Performance Insight & Accountability Support
  • Utilize CRM data, dashboards, and QBRs to assess performance and pipeline health
  • Identify performance gaps early and provide actionable coaching plans
  • Provide structured performance insights and recommendations to Branch Managers and Business Line Leaders to support performance management decisions
  • Support leadership in driving accountability while respecting reporting structures

5. Branch Manager Partnership
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to drive branch-level revenue performance
  • Align sales activity with operational capacity and service delivery
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insight, and pipeline visibility
  • Support onboarding of new hires and branch-level growth initiatives
6. Business Development & Strategic Relationships

  • Ensure accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
9. Operational Alignment & Compliance
  • Ensure sales commitments align with operational capabilities

10. Growth Initiatives (Expansion & M&A Support)
