Job description

At Range, we're building towards a world where anyone can live the financial life they imagine for themselves. If that sounds like a mission you want to be a part of, let's create it together.
We're building AI-powered wealth management. Investments, taxes, retirement, estate planning, all in one platform instead of scattered across different advisors and apps. We're backed by Google's Gradient Ventures, Cathay Innovation, Scale Venture Partners, and more. We're growing fast while still small enough that everyone's work is visible and impactful.
About the role
We're looking for a strategic, senior-level Manager of Office Operations to own and evolve the workplace function at Range's McLean, VA headquarters. You'll partner closely with senior leaders, manage vendors, facilities, events, and budgets, and lead initiatives like new office space projects. This role may also include managing the NYC Office and Operations Specialist as a direct report. We're looking for someone who thinks in systems, operates with a high degree of ownership and judgment, and brings equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
We're excited to hire this role at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. All of our positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with your team. If you're not currently based in one of these areas, but love what you see, let's discuss relocation options as part of your journey to joining us.
What you'll do with us

  • Own daily office operations for Range's HQ and continuously improve how the workplace function scales with the company
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on all office and facilities matters, anticipating needs before they arise
  • Lead new office space projects, including site evaluation, buildout coordination, and operational setup
  • Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming, professional experience
  • Remotely support ordering, vendor coordination, and visitor management for our NYC office; potentially manage the NYC Office and Operations Specialist
  • Manage vendor relationships, facilities maintenance, and property management
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment inventory, and budget management
  • Assist with new hire onboarding
  • Develop and implement scalable office policies and procedures
  • Plan and execute team events, including venue research and booking
What will set you apart
  • Proven experience in a senior office management or operations role; tech or high-growth startup background strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker who builds systems, not just follows them
  • Experience with new office space projects, from site selection through operational setup
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage a wide range of tasks independently
  • High EQ, discretion, and professionalism with senior leaders and executives
  • Excellent customer service skills and an experience-driven mindset; hospitality background is a plus
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sharp attention to detail with excellent follow-through
  • Proactive problem-solver who operates well in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus
Benefits
  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer-covered medical insurance for employees (75% for dependents), plus dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k): Retirement savings program to support your future
  • Paid Time Off: time to reset and recharge + most federal holidays
  • Parental Leave: Comprehensive leave policy for growing families
  • Meals: Select meals covered throughout the week
  • Fitness: Monthly movement stipend
  • Equity & Career Growth: Early exercise eligibility and a strong focus on professional development
  • Annual Compensation Reviews: Salary and equity refreshes based on performance
  • Boomerang Program: After two years at Range, you can take time away to start your own company. We'll hold your spot for 6 months - and pause your equity vesting, which resumes if you return
