CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Manager of Marketing Technology Systems to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

This role oversees development, configuration, and support activities for CLA's Marketing Technology application team to support business use of applications.

How you'll create opportunities in this Manager of Marketing Technology Systems role:

  • Marketing technology Leadership: Ensure all MarTech personnel comply with standard operating procedures, personnel policies and workload demands. Manages daily operations within the MarTech team working closely with team members to ensure productivity goals are met or exceeded. Escalation for complex functional, technical, or cross-system issues. Implementation of special projects assigned. Ensures team is knowledgeable of all necessary areas of applications; must strive to constantly develop team to ensure capable management succession. Leads team in planning and budgeting, policy development, data quality, security, privacy, and change management standards. Leads integrations for all MarTech systems, including development, monitoring, and design. Contributes to CLA's continual process improvement. Works responsively and cooperatively with all process and technical service owners and staff to assist in applying enterprise resources and related services to all areas of the Firm. Ensures the team participates in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Supervisory: Leads process of interviewing, hiring, and termination for the Martech team. Direct team members to perform enthusiastically, innovatively, and diligently. Coordinates personnel schedules and team workload in alignment with CLA business demands. Coordinates team members' work in accordance with applicable laws and policies. Coaches, disciplines, and facilitates training to team members as deemed appropriate. Takes corrective action in a constructive manner with employees as needed. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships to promote the success of established short- and long-term objectives and goals. Ensures day-to-0day and emergency coverage of services.
  • Team Project Management: Provides effective team project management on select IT projects, leading to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget. Leads team projects with communication, outcome, process, resource, schedule, and budget management.
  • Administrative: Develop and maintain quality relationships with appropriate vendor technical resources. Directs and assists team with user requests for support and information. Calculates test cases based on enhancements to be implemented from vendor or internally generated changes. Responsible for validation of vendor patches and/or upgrades to the environment.
  • Training and documentation: Partner with the business on appropriate instructional procedures and/or methods in the development of training, and use various software applications to assemble, manipulate, and format information and presentations. Creates documentation based on business processes and requests.

What you will need:

  • 8 years relevant experience required
    • Experience with Marketing and Sales Technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, marketing automation tools, analytics or customer data platforms) preferred
    • Prior management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused communication for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of solution design and ability to review and challenge technical approaches to ensure alignment with standards and business needs
  • Experience mentoring and coaching teams on technical quality, problem-solving, and best practices
  • Experience working within Agile environment and with Agile delivery tools. Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira systems experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and integration considerations across systems
  • Ability to partner effectively with product owners, business leaders, and technical teams to deliver outcomes
