Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Financial Reporting
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Coordinate the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
  • Prepare technical accounting memorandums and support complex accounting transactions
  • Review financial reporting packages and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, and executive leadership to support reporting requirements and strategic initiatives
  • Research and interpret new accounting standards and assist with implementation
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, including direct supervision of a Senior Accountant
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls

Qualifications for the Manager of Financial Reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Active CPA required
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience required; Big 4 or large regional audit experience strongly preferred
  • Experience preparing financial statements within a public accounting or corporate reporting environment
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and external audit processes
  • Experience preparing technical accounting memorandums preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
