An opportunity exists to lead within this dynamic organization as Financial Systems Manager, based in Orlando, FL, reporting to the Manager of Financial Systems and supporting the Record to Consolidate function.

What You Will Do

The Financial Systems Manager will drive several high-visibility business initiatives, including ongoing business support for accounting-related projects, record-to-report data compliance, system enhancements, financial consolidation processes, new business integration, and financial systems modernization efforts. This role will partner with finance and technology leaders to set direction and execute project activities that meet enterprise business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting/finance and project management background, finance system implementation experience a plus. They combine executive presence and sound business judgment with the agility to adapt to a fast-changing, highly matrixed environment, and they know how to build consensus and drive collaborative decisions across all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Financial & ERP Systems Expertise

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial or accounting roles, including experience with a large-scale SAP installation.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system supporting financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Established expertise in financial operations, financial controls, GAAP accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong critical thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen.
  • Experience directing the accounting and reporting of a complex, diverse, international, multi-entity financial organization.

Process Improvement & Automation Leadership

  • Proven track record leading end-to-end process evaluation, redesign, and automation transformation initiatives that deliver measurable gains in efficiency, accuracy, and control across a large finance organization.
  • Skilled at diagnosing workflow inefficiencies and driving automation-enabled solutions across finance operations, from business case through execution.
  • Experience reviewing and setting standards for others' automation-enabled solution work, including documentation and control practices, and governing the deployment of high-visibility solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize a process/automation portfolio by value and risk, formally review and approve others' work, and lead change adoption across a team.
  • Strong project management expertise, including planning, resourcing, and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and on budget.
  • Proven ability to champion change on enterprise-scale, high-visibility initiatives involving cross-functional teams, significant budget, and material organizational risk.

People & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Proven leadership experience directing and mentoring teams to meet business objectives.
  • Experience operating within a large company and matrix organization, with a demonstrated ability to build consensus and influence senior leaders in a politically complex environment.
  • Proven ability to partner with all levels of management, including executive leadership, to drive collaborative business decisions.
  • Proven history of building and maintaining excellent client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Self-driven, independent thinker who operates with a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment.
  • Results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to anticipate change and respond to shifting business priorities with agility in a fast-paced environment.

Communication & Executive Presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CMA license, or equivalent.
  • PMP or other professional project management certification.
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Experience using Business Objects, Tableau, and/or Cognos reporting tools.

The hiring range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is $120,700.00 to $147,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
