Job Overview Summary

The Branch Manager is the overall leader of a security branch, overseeing all operational aspects, including staff management, client relations, budgeting, and performance monitoring. This role requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day management skills to ensure that the branch runs smoothly and meets both company and client expectations. A Branch Manager is responsible for supervising security operations, implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a high level of customer satisfaction. The individual must also drive the branch’s growth, whether by expanding services, improving efficiency, or managing resources effectively. This role requires a combination of leadership, customer service expertise, and an in-depth understanding of security protocols.

What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring all security services meet established company and client standards.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and efficiency in security services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, local laws, and client requirements.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise branch staff, including security officers, administrative personnel, and team leaders.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal workforce utilization.
  • Ensure staff are equipped with necessary training and certifications in line with industry and company standards.

Client Relations:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients within the branch’s territory, maintaining strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Resolve client complaints promptly and effectively.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the branch’s geographic area to grow the client base.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in coordination with the corporate office to promote security services in the region.
  • Prepare and present proposals for potential clients, negotiate contracts, and ensure

Financial Management:

  • Manage the branch’s budget, including expenses, payroll, and revenue targets.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare regular reports, and implement strategies to meet financial goals.
  • Work with corporate finance to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure the branch complies with health and safety regulations to protect both staff and clients.
  • Oversee risk assessments and coordinate response plans for incidents and emergencies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
