Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Manager - Learning Experience & Processes role is responsible for executing the strategic vision for United's learning ecosystem, ensuring the efficient delivery of learning experiences and end to end management of the e-learning content lifecycle across the enterprise. This role leads learning operations by managing the governance, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of learning content, systems, and processes. The Manager ensures employees can easily access, complete, and track learning while meeting operational, regulatory, and business requirements in a complex and highly regulated environment.
As part of the Employee Experience team, the Manager partners closely with instructional design teams, Global Learning, HR, Operations, Digital Technology, and business leaders to move learning solutions from design through delivery and ongoing support. This role ensures learning platforms, content, and operational processes are effectively managed, communicated, and continuously optimized to support workforce readiness, compliance, and organizational growth. The Manager also supports the adoption and administration of AI-enabled learning solutions, helping modernize learning delivery while maintaining operational excellence and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with instructional design and learning teams to ensure effective delivery of learning content across the learning ecosystem
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Support the deployment, testing, communication, and maintenance of learning content throughout its lifecycle
  • Apply process improvement discipline to execute workflows, system integrations, and user experiences across the learning technology stack
  • Manage daily operations of enterprise learning platforms, ensuring system reliability, user support, issue resolution, and continuous improvements
  • Manage content delivery processes, system administration workflows, learner support models, and platform operations
  • Support agile project execution, roadmap delivery, and cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Monitor delivery, performance, and user satisfaction of learning technologies, and support implementation of new tools and AI-driven solutions in partnership with Digital Technology team

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in learning and development, operations management, learning management system or process management
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise-wide learning functions, including implementation, vendor management, and continuous improvement
  • Strong organizational and process management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Proven success implementing and monitoring measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of corporate learning experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
  • Successful completion of the interview process required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this role
