THE ROLE

Our client, a nationally recognised acute care community medical centre in Clovis, CA, is seeking a full-time permanent Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for its Labor & Delivery department. The ANM will provide clinical leadership and operational support across a 16-bed unit, working alongside bedside staff to drive quality, safety, and family-centred care standards. This is a direct hire role with relocation assistance available for eligible external candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate patient care activities and support day-to-day operations of the Labor & Delivery unit
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and professional development support to nursing staff
  • Lead and contribute to quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive unit culture where all team members feel valued and supported
  • Assist in scheduling, staffing oversight, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Serve as a clinical resource and leadership presence for patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • โ˜…ย  Current State of California Registered Nurse (RN) licence โ€” active and in good standing
