Position Purpose:
The Sr. Data Analyst-Labor, will leverage technical experience and abilities to analyze complex datasets to uncover operational insights, predict future outcomes and provide recommended actions. This role will create data visualizations to summarize analytical findings into easily understood outputs to drive business decisions. This role collaborates with other analysts to support analytically-driven decisions across the Store Operations Labor Team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 40% - Improve Labor and related business decisions that drive productivity in US Retail Stores - Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions that improve Labor and business decisions that drive productivity in stores. Coordinate the design and development of dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids designed to educate, inform and influence the decisions of labor clients and business leaders. Identify new and different ways of providing business insight with enhanced technical capabilities. Provide business insight with enhanced technical capabilities, finding innovative ways to be proactive with industry trends and the needs of the Labor Team.
  • 40% - Leads analyses of moderate to high complexity for Home Depot's hourly payroll labor model to drive related business decisions and efficiency - Identify trends and provide analytical insight for labor model decision making for client group and leaders. Determine root cause of problems impacting labor and determine solutions based on analyses and datasets. Drive effective business decisions by providing analytical findings to a variety of client groups.
  • 20% - Support existing analytical tools and dashboards for process improvement - Develop additional technical competencies and subject matter expertise.
