About the Role

A steel company in Houston, TX is hiring an Accounting Assistant Manager to handle day-to-day accounting operations and reporting. This role covers AP/AR, invoicing, payment processing, closing support, and audit preparation, and includes regular communication with the headquarters in Korea.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including AP/AR, invoicing, and payment processing.

- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Prepare accounting reports and documentation for external audits.

- Assist with other accounting-related tasks.

- Prepare reports and communicate with the headquarters in Korea.

 

Required Qualifications

- Accounting experience covering AP/AR, invoicing, and payment processing.

- Experience with month-end/year-end closing and audit documentation.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

 

Preferred Qualifications

- Korean/English communication ability.


Work Authorization

- Candidates legally authorized to work in the U.S. are given priority consideration.

- Visa sponsorship (E1) may be considered in the future based on company policy and job performance.
