Position Title: Program Manager / Senior Strategic Communications Lead

Position Summary:

This position serves as the single point of accountability for overall contract performance and is designated the Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Strategic Communications support to the GPN Governance 
  • Primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and is
  • Responsible for the Transition-In Plan due within 30 days of award, Monthly Status Reports due by the 15th of each month, and comprehensive support for GPN PO meetings including executive agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
  • Designs and produces executive briefing slides, background papers, and talking points for senior military and civilian leadership
  • Prepares and coordinates material packages for GPN governance boards and executive steering councils
  • Drafts strategic communications plans and stakeholder information packets conveying GPN capability updates across the Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt).
  • Must be able to credibly brief flag officers and senior civilians on short notice, translate technical logistics detail into executive-ready narrative
  • Run day-to-day contract administration without direct daily oversight

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience managing and directing DoD projects or programs related to logistics initiatives and/or technology development and integration
  • Proven, demonstrable ability to work directly with flag officers or senior civilian leadership in developing communications support for strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to present complex logistics or program concepts succinctly for senior leadership review.
  • Working knowledge of Marine Corps structures, missions, and programs for organizations involved in logistics activities; detailed knowledge of Marine Corps logistics issues and initiatives is preferred.
  • Eligible for and able to obtain a Secret clearance and DoD CAC/PKI credentials prior to or immediately upon award.
  • Available to report on-site at the Pentagon or Quantico, VA as designated by the Government.

  • PMP or DAWIA Program Management certification
